After joining the Tour from Lisbon meeting point, drive through the fishing village of Peniche and hop on board a boat destined for the island. You will visit St. John the Baptist Fort, a 17th-century fortress built from the ruins of an old monastery. Join your guide for a walk through well-maintained walkways amidst island's lush greenery and turquoise waters.
You will have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, and relax on the sand at a pristine beach nearby. Your guide will offer informative commentary about the flourishing flora and fauna found within the Berlengas Nature Reserve and share fascinating stories about the invasions and pirate sieges that once tormented the island.
