  • Day 1

    Meet your guide at Boduthakurufaanu Magu Jetty number 5 and hop on a boat for the journey across the ocean to the beautiful and peaceful island of Vilimalé. You will reach the island within just a 10-minute cruise which is home to Save the Beach, a non-profit organisation dedicated to conserving the local beaches and coral reefs.

    Discover group's clean-up programmes and efforts to plant trees and organise educational events for the community in Vilimalé and throughout the archipelago. Join in for a 90-minute walking tour of the island to learn about the projects to preserve Vilimalé's rich bio-diversity and natural ecosystems. Visit a small spice factory, and wrap up your outing at a local cafe for a traditional hedika, a Maldivian treat of sweet and savoury snacks served with black tea.
