Sri Lanka may be a little island on the world map but the abundance of wildlife in this glorious island is immense. This tour is designed to experience multiple national parks in 5 days covering different climate zones hence the different flora & fauna in those zones. This meticulously designed tour will also give you a sense of Sri Lankan culture, traditions and history.

On your arrival at the Bandaranaiye International airport, you will be met & assisted by our representative in Sri Lanka. We could arrange alternative pick up locations for this tour, for instance if you wish to join this tour either from Colombo or Negombo please request the agent at the time of your booking. Enjoy your journey in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and your impressive four-star accommodation at each night stop while gaining a heap of knowledge from your very own chauffeur guide.   • Day 1

    After pick-up service you will begin your journey to Galle. Check-in at the hotel, take a leisure walk through Galle fort. Galle fort was initially built in 1588 by the Portuguese then fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It is recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site and other places of interest include Dutch reformed church, Old Dutch hospital, All Saints Anglican church, The Clock tower built in 1882 and the Galle Light house built in 1939.

    Overnight Stay at Amari Galle (Bed & Breakfast). Enjoy the private beach, great hospitality, comfortable stylish accommodation, outdoor swimming pool, roof top bar, spa & wellness centre and scrumptious food at this gorgeous beach facing property.

    Day 2

    Request for a packed breakfast and leave early for Whale watching in Mirissa. Get close to the amazing Blue Whales, magical gentle giants in the ocean. You might also see Dolphins, flying fish and sea turtles in their natural habitats.

    Then proceed to Tissamaharama, a quaint city once was the capital of the Sinhalese kingdom of Ruhuna as early as the 3rd century BC. If you prefer, you could take a leisure stroll around the magnificent Tissa lake and the huge snowy white Dagoba.

    Overnight stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala (Bed & Breakfast). The hotel is only a 5minutes drive away from Yala national park, a short drive to Kataragama Hindu temple and the Tissamaharama temple. Due to its strategic location, you might see number of friends from the wild just at the door step of the hotel and these may include Elephants, Wild boar, grey Lemur, peacock and if it is your lucky day a Leopard may pass by too! Spend time leisurely at the outdoor swimming pool, revitalise at the Spa after a busy day and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the restaurants or enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the roof top bar with stunning views of the jungle, ocean and the lagoon.

    Day 3

    Pack up your breakfast and proceed for your Jeep Safari at Yala National Park. Yala has the highest density of Leopards in Asia. Other animals include wild boar, spotted deer, wild elephant, peacock, sloth bear, sambar deer, jackal, water buffalo, crocodile and many bird species.

    Refresh at the hotel before check-out and proceed to Udawalawa. Due to being located on the boundary of dry and wet zones of Sri Lanka, you will witness a diversity in both flora and fauna in this region. Spend your afternoon leisurely at the hotel.

    If time permits, you may proceed to the Elephant Transit Home, an orphanage facilitating rehabilitation and veterinary care for orphaned baby elephants and then releasing them back into their natural habitat.

    Overnight stay at Grand Udawalawa Safari Hotel (Bed & Breakfast).  – Enjoy the spacious comfortable rooms with amazing views of the lush greenery. This environment friendly hotel is only a few minutes’ drive away from the Udawalawa National park.

    Day 4

    After a delicious breakfast, proceed to Udawalawa national park which is home to Wild elephants, water buffalo, peacocks, Indian hare, Sambar and spotted deer, mugger crocodile, water monitors, mongoose and many other wildlife. It is also a popular place for bird watching.

    After a quick lunch proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Ella. Capture the scenic views of the Rawana Ella waterfall, gorgeous mountains, alleys, tea carpeted estates and plains. Relax at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

    Spend your night at The Blackpool Hotel (Bed & Breakfast). Surrounded by a lush green tea estate, Blackpool hotel offers modern rooms, scrumptious culinary experience, breath taking views and great hospitality.  Plunge in to the outdoor hot water pool, a unique experience in the middle of misty mountains!

    Day 5

    After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Horton plains, a protected highland covered by cloud forest and montane grassland. You are now at an altitude of 2100-2300 metres above sea level and most of the species found here are endemic to this region. The sheer cliff of ‘’World’s End’’ and Bakers Falls are among the tourist attractions at the park. Also, a perfect location for bird watchers apart from spotting many species of mammals, reptiles and amphibians.

    In the afternoon, proceed either to the airport or your hotel in Negombo or Colombo.
